I visited this salon for the second time having had a voucher bought for me, and I have to say that on both occasions I was disappointed with the service I received. The last visit prompted me to write this review. I went for a facial which cost £50 so expected a level of service. The therapist spoke no more than 25 words to me in the whole 45 mins, not that you want constant chat but I didn't even know her name as she never introduced herself and only spoke to give me instruction. The actual facial itself was ok nothing special it was supposed to be a deep exfoliating facial but my skin feels more exfoliated when I do it myself at home. The previous visit was for a spray tan which ended up very streaky and didn't last more than a couple of days and at £35 wasn't worth it. When I went to settle my bill the therapist totally ignored me didn't even say goodbye. I work in media as a makeup artist and offer a friendly service to everyone i work with i also do a lot of weddings so I work with a lot of people who have to look their best and often ask for recommendations it's such a shame that the experience wasn't more favourable as I would have loved to recommend a local business. The owner who would have spent a lot of money on the aveda franchise should be spending money on teaching their staff customer service skills and giving their customers an enjoyable service.
