I came to this place yesterday to get my hair relaxed. The woman there pulled my hair and out and literally began ripping out my hair with the scalp not bothering to go carefully over any tangles, this hurt a lot. After my scalp being sore from the combing she applied the relaxer, it says on most relaxer boxes, do not rub into scalp, this woman rubbed it very deeply into my scalp causing the burning to begin as soon as it was applied which is very unusual. I told her it burns and she claimed: ' I have a sensitive scalp' which is news to me. I was relieved to find out it was to be washed out as I thought that would stop the burning. No she washed it out and it felt as of the relaxer had burned right through my scalp. I told her this but she did not take any care when massaging the shampoo into my scalp she rubbed with a lot of pressure and this hurt more in certain areas of my scalp than in others. I flinched a few times from the pain however she did not do it more gently. When she washed out my hair I looked in the mirror to discover that my hair was not relaxed properly. Only some of my hair was straight the rest was still untouched. I pointed this out but she ignored me and began to blow dry. The dryer had a comb attached and as though she was angry she used so much pressure that the comb hit my already sore scalp very hard each time she brushed through. She then did a roller set. I got a small discount on the price as it had not been relaxed properly. The next morning my head is STILL sore. I get my sister to inspect my scalp and she says there are a few small bald patches all over! These were in the spots that hurt the most whilst she was shampooing the relaxer out. My hair is dry and does not look as though I had a perm yesterday. I am extremely unhappy and I will never return to this place. Although I got a discount it still does not make up for the bald patches and the amount of breakage my hair received. Very unhappy!!!!
