I visited the fringe on Saturday, I had an appointment with Andrew for a cut and blow dry. After being booked in at the reception desk I was asked to take a seat. Approx. 15 minutes later I was asked by the receptionist which hairdresser I was seeing and what I was having done, I told her and she asked me to come over to the reception desk. I was then asked if I minded having my hair cut by someone else? I explained Andrew had given me a fringe trim on the previous weekend and after discussing my hair with him I booked an appointment based on this because he filled me with confidence, so I did not want my hair cutting by someone else. She told me that a stylist had rung in sick so some appointments had to be re-jigged - and asked me "what do you want me to do"? Whilst I appreciate that things like this happen, I would have appreciated a phone call in the morning to ask if I minded seeing a different hairdresser, especially as my appointment was not until 11.00am and I had travelled from East Hull (approx. 25 minutes each way). I had a completely wasted Saturday morning and all I was offered was a very slightly reduced haircut if I rebooked, which would not even cover the cost of fuel or my wasted time. I was hugely disappointed and I would not visit this salon again as they clearly don't care about their customers.
