Had a really horrible experience at this saloon on Tuesday,28/8/18 when I asked to shellac nail polish removed and re-done. Initally the lady was lovely but then started to say, if I shape or file your nails its £2 extra and the price kept changing. There was nobody in the saloon except me and the three staff. It felt really creepy and after a change in price was announced every two minutes, I started to feel very uncomfortable and said that I would just have the nail polish removed and then leave. When I went to pay, the beautician's colleague? manager appeared and under the counter they started using a calculator as they could not agree on the price. First they stated £25 for the polish removal, please note I did not have a manicure or have my nails repainted, they looked worse than when I had gone in. On the wall it stated that there was 20% off Mon-Wednesday! I have been having my nails done every 3 weeks for at least 15 years and knew that £25 is outrageous as have had polish removed for £5 and my nails beautifully taken care of for that price and the maximum I have paid is £10 when they have done a manicure as part of the removal, ie cuticle care etc. Eventually the saloon manager on that day agreed £15 which included the 20% off presumably. I felt sad for the lady doing my nails as she seemed completely at the mercy of the saloons manager and did not seem to have any control over what I was charged, When I spoke to friends, I realised they all had similar experiences and said they would never go back.
