terrible service, constantly late for everyone's appointments and are rude when people ask when they will be attended to.
the day of my prom I was took 2 hours late and was told to get someone to pick up my dress to actually get ready in the shop! I got told to blow dry my own hair as they were hours behind schedule my make up was then rushed and was nowhere near worth £10 never mind £30 i was in the shop for 4 hours and was nowhere near satisfied with the results I would not recommend it what so ever

Been to the salon countless times and always leave feeling amazing. The girls and salon owner Clara are lovely and know there stuff, Fun friendly environment.
Dont think these girls get the praise they deserve after reading some of these ridiculous comment on this! Must have been in a different salon to me thats all i can say!
Only thing i would say is the salon is really small so when its really busy you can hardly move which is a pain, Other than that its a really good salon

Mystery client - attended DDG for hair and make up. On arrival the salon was extremely busy. Was waiting for 1hr to b taken during this time no refreshments were offerd. Staff are nice but could be more officient with their customer service some more than others. But the staff are very bubbly! One stylist Lauren who stood out a mile away with her fantastic work and great attitude! Very professional! Salon owner is also very nice. Nail technician is up to great standerds also. Nails were goergous! Make up artists are amazing very busy ladies but still achieve maximum results with every client! DDG is a very good salon always busy but their standerds of work is amazing! Just need to be a bit more afficient and flexible with appointments! Definitely worth trying DDG!

Love,love love this Salon. Always leave feeling like a million dollars. Very relaxing and friendly Salon. Had my hair done by a few differnt stylist and been happy everytime. Clara curled it the last time and looked stunning, kept it's bounce all through the evening..... Would highly recommend.

What can I say? This is the best place by far to go If your wanting the best hair and make-up done by an amazing team of girls. The staff and owner Clara have always been nothing but professional,honest, and done there job to the highest standards youd expect from a salon that calls itself dropdead gorgeous, because it's simple you walk out feeling DROPDEAD GIRGEOUS!!! Don't understand the nasty negative comments I can only assume there from trolls an jealous individuals with nothing better to do than try being a brilliant team of girls down (never going to happen) I have suffered bad with low self esteem and confidence issues but I truly mean it when I say when I go in there I'm made to feel as comfortable and welcome as anyone can b and walk out feeling gorgeous just what every girl needs. #amazing #theonlywayistheDDGway xxxx

My friend booked a shotgun wedding and we had to scramble about last minute trying to organize things. I called the salon owner to book hair and make up appointments and she opened the salon early especially for myself and the bride. I don't personally know the girls who work in DDG but I can say that they bent over backwards to accommodate us and were as excited as us about the wedding. The bride had asked for a certain hair style but the salon owner kindly expressed that it wouldn't really work. She gave her a different style and proved to be 100% right. The brides hair and make up was both classy and flawless and I got he best blow dry I've ever had.

Been to DDG 3 times in December! Each time I have left feeling brilliant! Hair by Clara and make up by Nadia have always been flawless. Definately found my new place to go for my nights out!! If I could upload picture I would! Xxxxx DDG is the way forward! Xxxz <3

Very impressive that some one has given me the time on Xmas day to "Try" ruin my business... Unfortunately the camera never lies,!! These comments are due to a sick jealous individual who makes fake appointments.. Thanks to our great service and over friendly staff we are fully booked most weekends, so u will need to try another FAKE scam... Completley unproffessional and stuck up people who work there. Attititudes of workers are disgusting. Over priced and 100% biased towards friends which is normal under circumstances but a very 'closed community' salon- only has proper time for the regulars. Facebook and instagram pages had me fooled as quality of work looks amazing but more of a popularity contest is the impression which is given. Focus is trying to be better than others rather than customer satisfaction. Also couldn't believe the bitching and gossiping which went on! Would never recommend- unless you are also stuck up.

Visited the salon last weekend for hair and make up after seeing loads of good things on facebook i arrived 5 minutes early before my 2pm app and i was not taken until 3.40pm. Various people came in and out the shop after my app and were taken before myself i am assuming these are friends of the owners.
The owner clearly is over confident about her over priced 'business' and should stop bitching for 5 minutes and learn how to be professional, time management and customer service. Clearly has an attitude problem this is the worst service i have ever recieved however the only plus was i had a great blowdry but not for the hour and a half wait which is an utter disgrace. My make up was horrendous i had to go home and wash it off and reapply it myself - i wouldnt be surprised if the girl who applied my make up didnt even have any make up background absolutly dreadful!!! After this terrible 4 hours i had to endure in this shop listening to the owner talk garbage constantly instead of getting on with her job i was faced with the bill of £75!!!!! Completely over priced £35 for make up and £30 for a blow dry - robbery and disgusting that they think they can charge this. I am extremely surprised they still have clients after the service i recieved last week. I would not recommend this salon to anyone unless you want to be ripped off.
I wouldnt even give this salon 1 star as completely anf utterly inadequate level of service.

Absolutely dreadful salon. Don't let their Facebook page fool you! Owner has a dreadful and over confident attitude, she was extremely rude and should learns thing or two about customer service. Avoid this salon, I would classify this as a few low class salon that think they can over charge. The salon is best to be shut down as they are good for nothing.

Don't usually write reviews but felt I had to after reading some negative once thought I'd give my honest opinion.
Had my hair stripped and recoloured The girl explained everything in great detail and was very honest about how to get the result I wanted. I felt very comfortable and relaxed in the salon and would highly recommend it as I've been to lots of salons in the past and very well known once and never been as happy with my hair as I am todsy after being a DDG.

Pleasantly surprised after the mix reviews.. I had an appointment for Hair & Makeup and was delighted with the over all look. Clara did my hair and it's the best Blow dry I have ever had she got it the way i asked. And Nadia is just magic I must say left feeling wonderful. The salon is a bit rowdy it's a great atmosphere in the place. I can't how ever go along with the negative reviews my experience was a 5. And certainly will be returning. Highly recommend.

Booked my niece in here for her hair and make up for prom... WORST IDEA I'VE EVER HAD.
Saw nothing but good pictures on facebook about this salon so thought it would be a great treat, obviously this place caters more to their friends than clients. I should of instantly been put off when I called to book an appointment and the girl was nothing but rude, unhelpful and very brief.
3 and a half hours later after having her make up done I had to call another salon to do her wash and blow dry as she was still waiting and the owner was taking other clients who came in later before her.
Don't get me wrong Richard who done her make up was brilliant. However the same cannot be said for the salon owner who was most of the time on her phone while doing peoples hair.
You would of thought when I booked a wash and blow dry and make up they would of done the hair first then the make up but apparently not then to leave a client sitting for hours whilst you take later clients and mess about!
It is a shame really because the quality of the staff's work looks good, to waste it with such bad customer service is a total let down. Not impressed at all and will never recommend this place! Disgraceful and as a result my neice was late for her prom and missed the photographer booked! Definitely avoid!

Funny about the bad reviews. I'm thinking jealous salon owners. Drop dead gorgeous is truly unique. One of the first of its kind in glasgow and attempted to be copied by other owners. This salon is always booked out and if you check the Facebook page, you will find very happy customers sharing their photos. This salon is an experience in itself and the quality of what it sells is excellent. Check out the number of people trying to get an appointment. I love going and enjoying the whole experience. Clara runs a great shop and ways has the very latest innovations in the hair and beauty world. I know I'm going on a bit but I get so mad with people who just set out to diss someone else's successful business.
You keep going Clara girl.

Visited drop dead gorgeous salon today.... Best experience I have had so far in a hairdressers, the staff are friendly, fun and make you feel so welcome. I never experienced any of the things that have been mentioned in previous reviews. The owner, Clara, was spotless and looked great... My hair is amazing, the best colour and cut I have had in years. Going to a hairdressers is a daunting thing for anyone, especially if it's a first time in a new place. Had I read the previous reviews on here I probably would have cancelled so I'm glad I never seen them til now. They all seem to be very vindictive and I really don't believe any of this after today's experience.
Thank you Clara and Richard for a great salon experience at DDG...I will be back for sure xxxx

I love this salon I went to get my hair lightened from black to blonde I expected my hair to go ginger but it turned out lovely golden blonde highlights Clara is amazing at what she does I wouldn't go anywhere else now I love the results and love the atmosphere

I visited this salon only to have the girl Clara break all of my hair. She left dye on it for 4 and a half hours whilst chatting to everyone and anyone.This resulted in it all breaking Then when it got to about 5 hours and she was drying she started telling me that hers was really short and was all a fake weave. Well I can see why she had to get a weave because she ruined mine too the same as hers. AVOID letting this salon lighten your hair if you want any hair left.
